Refund policy

If your order isn't quite right, we offer change-of-mind returns within 30 days of delivery, subject to the conditions below.

Orders placed before 2 July 2026

Returns Cover was introduced on 2 July 2026.

  • Australian orders placed before this date remain eligible for free change-of-mind returns within 30 days of delivery.
  • International orders placed before this date are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.

Change-of-Mind Returns

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused and in their original condition.

  • All swing tags must remain attached.

  • Original packaging must be included.

  • Proof of purchase is required.

Return Shipping

Orders with Returns Cover

If you purchased Returns Cover at checkout, eligible return shipping costs for approved change-of-mind returns and exchanges will be covered.

Orders without Returns Cover

If you did not purchase Returns Cover, you may still return your item within 30 days of delivery. The applicable return shipping cost will be shown when you lodge your return through our Returns Portal.

How to Request a Return

All change-of-mind returns and warranty claims must be submitted through our Returns Portal.

Items sent back without first lodging a request through the Returns Portal will not be accepted.

Once your return has been received and inspected, any approved refund will be processed to your original payment method. Please allow additional time for your bank or payment provider to complete the refund.

If express shipping was selected at checkout, the express shipping fee is non-refundable. Refunds are issued for the returned item(s) only.

European Union

If your order was delivered within the European Union, you also have rights under the EU Consumer Rights Directive.

You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason, using our EU Withdrawal Portal. 

Where Returns Cover was not purchased, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund in accordance with Article 14(1) of Directive 2011/83/EU.

Your statutory rights are separate from and in addition to MELIJA's voluntary 30-day returns policy.

Warranty

All MELIJA products are covered by our 12-month warranty.

If your item arrives damaged, develops a manufacturing fault, or you believe your product has a warranty issue, please submit your claim through our Returns Portal.

Please include a description of the issue and clear photos so we can assess your claim. If your claim is approved, we will repair, replace or refund your item in accordance with applicable consumer laws.

Seconds & Samples Sale

Items purchased from our Seconds & Samples Sale are final sale items and are not eligible for change-of-mind returns, refunds or exchanges.

This does not affect your rights under applicable consumer protection laws.

Bundles & Gift Sets

Items purchased as part of a bundle, duo or gift set may be returned individually. However, if you choose to keep one or more items from the bundle, any bundle discount will no longer apply.

If only part of a bundle is returned:

  • The retained item(s) will be charged at their full individual price.

  • Your refund will be adjusted accordingly.

All returned items must meet the eligibility requirements above.
